Chapter 4
Joey's mom gave him something to help him remember to be still. What was it? What do you think Joey was thinking about to help him be still at that time?

Taking responsibility for what you post
When ever you post to the blog you must "sign" your name. There is no exception to this rule. If and when you post, you must sign your name. You can also make comments to other peoples post, but keep in mind that they need to be appropriate in nature and must be signed.

Welcome
Dear 5th graders:
Welcome to the world of blogging. As we talked about in class. Blogs are a way for people to share interactively with each other on the web. We will be using this blog to discuss the book Joey Pigza Swallowed the Key. To do this though we will need to have some ground rules about posting to the blog.
1. Rule #1
We will follow the same rules on the blog as we do in the class room:
Be responsible: To the computer lab (in this case the Blog)
To your classmates
To yourself
2. Rule #2
Continuing with the first rule, remember "If you can't say something nice about someone, do not say anything at all." Everyone is welcome and expected to share their thoughts about the book. If you don't agree with someone's opinion, then find a "good" way to comment about them. Do not make your comments personal towards another person.
3. Rule #3
This is a school related activity, all rules that apply at Big Timber Grade School applies when posting to this blog.
